A fun story tune, inspired by the fairy tale, the 'Singing Bone' where two brothers are pitted against each other for a chance at the King's daughter

It tore thru town 'bout every night,
The boar came down on every chicken in sight
It came for, it came for you

So the king of the land put a price on its head
Life with his daughter, nights in her bed
So every man grabbed his sharpest knife
And set out to, collect his prize

When the bounty for the boar, became the king's daughter
My innocent simplicity, by envy's hands was slaughtered
As I lay beneath this bridge, my brother in her bed
I'll sing for you, until I'm blue, 'til the hangman's got your head

By morning's light, the army of men, had dwindled down from 100 to 10,
there was me, there was you
Some got hungry, some got cold, some got horny decided to fold
What the remaining 10 didn't know then, they were the ones, being hunted.

10 had a snake hiding in his boot
9 ate something that wasn't food
8 couldn't stay away from the drink
7 found himself hanging from a bridge
6 shot 5 who landed on 4
3 saw it all, couldn't take anymore
so that just left 2, just me and you
to catch the big pig, the one that they called Sue

When the bounty for the boar, became the king's daughter

Six days gone by, no sign of Sue,
'til the one Sunday morning she crept up on you
It was the end you knew
'Til I put my knife right between her eyes,
You fell to your knees said I saved your life
Now go on brother, collect your prize. A sleepless night with your princess bride

But when we got to the edge of the woods
my light went dark, my head just shook
I was dragged next to Sue underneath the bridge
Heaven and Hell were caving in
Last sight was the dirt raining over me
As you crept into bed with my bride to me
Well you can bury the truth, but you can't hide your sty

One week later wedding bells, they didn't know they were raising hell
Outside the castle walls, we took up the call
I found my six string, Sue sat behind the skins, and play the bass
was good old number 6
All we needed was an axe man and a tasty lick, then a buzzard flew down with this deadly riff.
So we played 'em our song, and they danced all night long.
Until they all fell down dead, one by one.
